Aqua-Mist Fire Protection stand out from the crowd in many aspects but not least their own manufacturing/fabrication facility. Acquired in 2005 the new facility is state of the art, housing CNC milling and lathe machines, welding rigs and over head cranes.

The facility is manned by some of the highest skilled individuals in the north of the UK. From this efficient operation all of Aqua-Mist products are manufactured. All water mist heads are machined directly from raw materials. Aqua-Mist chose to ‘machine’ all of its heads rather than forge (i.e. sprinklers) as this method although more expensive gives a far better product to the end user. From this machining process the water mist heads are assembled under strict QA guidelines after which a series of test are performed to satisfy Aqua-Mist that every item leaving this facility is fit for purpose.

Pipework fabrication also takes place within this facility ensuring all materials are correct and ready for use prior to shipment to sites, further enforcing Aqua-Mists capabilities to deliver projects on time.

Within this facility all of LP2000 water mist pump skids are assembled. These units are fabricated, piped, wired, powder coated and then run tested to further ensure the quality of the product. Further more this ability to off site manufacture the largest element of our system reduces our installation time on projects.
